Our strategic planning process is designed with you in mind.
We’ve participated in all sorts of strategic planning exercises throughout our careers. Some were great and others left a lot to be desired. There’s nothing worse in the world of strategic planning than going through a months-long process and being left with a plan that doesn’t reflect your community’s needs, doesn’t feel right, and then just sits on the shelf.
So we’ve pulled the best bits from our strategic planning experiences into a comprehensive process that will ensure your community is heard, your best strategies rise to the top, and your path forward becomes clear.
Our comprehensive strategic planning process costs $23,000 and is all-inclusive. We won’t bill you extra for materials or for our travel to your office for our in-person sessions. And we’re happy to travel anywhere in the U.S. for strategic planning!
Our process
Here’s what our process could look like for you.
Month One
We’ll spend the first month getting aligned on the strategic planning process that will work best for your organization. We’ll get familiar with the work you do and talk with your top executives or strategic planning committee to design a tailored process that creates space to hold the diversity of perspectives within your community and ensures everyone feels heard.
Month Two
We’ll then dive in to listening to the many perspectives of your community and getting the plan’s foundation right. We’ll facilitate four in-person brainstorming sessions with your key stakeholders to make sure your strategic plan is rooted in what the community you serve needs most. We’ll also start to draft your plan and give you an early look at what we think might be your path forward.
Month Three
We’ll then facilitate some virtual feedback sessions with you and your community to make sure our draft strategic plan resonates. Once the plan is finalized, we’ll build a step-by-step implementation plan for the first year, leaving you well-prepared to start executing your plan right away. And to wrap things up, we’ll come back for a final in-person training to review the plan and what it means for your organization moving forward.
